Easy Parmesan Chicken

Posted on: November 17, 2010

This is one of my go-to recipes when I can’t decide what I want to make for supper and I don’t have a lot of time to spend on prep work.  The original recipe is from Taste of Home, but I’ve adapted it…these measurements are approximations because I don’t measure anymore when I’m making it.

Parmesan Chicken
2 chicken breasts
1/2 cup bread crumbs
3 tbsp Parmesan cheese
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  1. Combine bread crumbs, parmesan cheese and garlic powder in a shallow bowl.  Combine wet ingredients in another shallow bowl.
  2. Dip chicken breasts in wet ingredients and then bread with dry ingredients.
  3. Place on baking sheet with foil (for ease of clean-up only…the foil is not required).  Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

That’s all!  Nice and easy!
